COMO ZOO AND CONSERVATORY
I am not a huge zoo person, but Como Zoo has both an amusement park and a conservatory. This summer me and my friend went to visit the temporary Japanese Garden exhibit they had and it was so beautiful. No image can capture the true beauty and stillness of this exhibit. The conservatory rotates different exhibits regularly making it so that there's always something new to see.
BLACK COFFEE AND WAFFLE BAR
This place is so cozy and their waffles are so yummy. They have a variety of sweet and savory crepes and they have locations in both Minneapolis and St. Paul. I grew up going here with my mom and friends, so it has a special place in my heart.
ELECTRIC FETUS
Electric Fetus is a huge record store with weekly events. They always have listening parties for upcoming albums which are fun to attend. They give out freebies all the time whether that is stickers or posters. They are a great business and it's a great way to support a local business.
CAFE ASTORIA
Cafe Astoria is my go to breakfast place because they offer the tastiest crepes. I am also a huge matcha fan, and there matcha is a huge hit with me. The cafe is both cozy and cute and there coffee drinks are true masterpieces. Overall, they are the best place for breakfast nearby if you want something tasty!
